Cardiac First Responders
There has been a growing national interest in the way sudden collapse is responded to and managed in the pre-hospital or community setting. In March 2006 the Department of Health and Children published the 'Report of the Task Force on Sudden Cardiac Death'. This report recognised the need to provide information and advice to communities, councils and organisations who may wish to establish first responder programmes.
Kilcormacs first responders group was established in November 2010 and is growing in numbers and support. We currently have 12 active voluntary members. If you would like to join or get more infomation on the group please contact St Josephs Community Centre on 057 91 35445
