Table Quiz, with all proceeds going to the Slieve Bloom Vintage Club,
will take place on this night Fri. 14th Nov. in Feigherys. Tables
of four 20Euro. and all support will be appreciated.

The
Parish Mission continues this week in Kilcormac and Mountbolus. All
times of daily and nightly ceremonies are in the ‘flyer’,
already distributed to the homes.

Meeting of the Historical Society takes place this Wed. night 12th
Nov. in the Community Centre, Kilcormac at 8.45p.m. (approx.) after
the Mission.

reminder that the annual Table Quiz, with all proceeds for General
Cancer Counselling, Research, Relief and Early Diagnostic Service
for Women, takes place on Fri. 21st Nov. in Feigherys Pub. Further

PARENT AND TODDLER GROUP
Kilcormac Parent and Toddler Group meet every Thursday morning in
St. Joseph’s Community Centre 10.30 to 12noon. Babies to pre-school
with parents/grandparents/childminder are welcome.

CAMOGIE CLUB
On Sat. 8th Nov. the U.18 girls progressed to the semi final stage
by giving a great display of camogie against St. Sinchills on a score
line of 1-7 to 0-2 despite the very bad weather conditions. The u.18
semi final v Kinnitty is on Sun. 16th time and venue to be decided.

Registration to the Offaly Youth Groups will be held at the Bridge
House, Tullamore, on 16th November at 5.30pm. Birr Comhaltas hosts
a concert of traditional music song and dance on November 22nd November.
County Board AGM will be held in Rahan Community Centre on 25th November
at 8.30p.m., followed by sessiun. Mol an Oige are invited to Bru Bru,
Clonmel on the 29th November and will join the Tipperary youth group
for what promises to be an excellent evening of music. If interested
please contact James Hogan for details. On the 21st November The Bridge
House plays host to all who helped make the All Ireland Fleadh Cheoil
a wonderful success. Celebrations kick off at 8 pm in the Millennium
Room. The County Board are releasing Christmas Cards with Comhaltas
theme. Pack of 10 cards are €10 and 30 cards are €20 Finally

INFORMATION DAY
Mary Kiely and Labour women are hosting an information day to discuss
the growing unemployment in the area, and what can be done to generate
extra income, guest speakers from FAS, County Enterprise Board and
Belmont Womens group. Meeting in O’Sullivans Lounge on sat.
15th Nov. at 11.00a.m. All welcome.
KILCORMAC DEVELOPMENT LOTTO
The numbers drawn this week were 11,12,24 and 26. There was no outright
winner and no match three winners. Five people were drawn from the
drum for €30 each. Celia Gath won the promoters prize. Next weeks
draw for a Jackpot of €5650will be held in Feigherys.
