Joe Coleman Honoured
The Saint Patrick's Day parade committee organised a presentation to Joe Coleman in Dan and Molly's recently. Joe has been chairman and M.C. of the parade committee for all of its 21 years in existence and this year he announced his retirement from the role. A beautiful piece of bog oak and yew, sculpted by Don O'Boyle, was presented to Joe. In expressing his thanks for the presentation, Joe pointed out that the success of the parade was down to the local families who put so much effort into the parade each year and he saw no reason why it could not go from strength to strength.
