Church Gate Collection

Friends of Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore wish to thank the people of the surrounding areas for their generous donations at the Church gate collection, €1,186 was the final total. We would also like to thank the Card players from Dan & Molly’s Ballyboy for their donation of €170.

 

Boccia

Boccia takes place in St. Joseph’s Community Centre on Thursday evenings from 6:30pm – 7:45pm.

 

Elaine Carroll Pilates

Due to demand Elaine has added another night. Pilates Class in St. Joseph’s Community Centre, Kilcormac on Monday & Wednesday nights from 8pm – 9pm. €10 per class, there are limited places available. To book your place please call Elaine on 086 3892882. Don’t forget to bring a mat.

 

Bowls

Bowls takes place every Friday from 7pm – 8pm in St. Joseph’s Community Centre. For more information contact Timmy 086 8729423.

 

Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels service is available in the Kilcormac, Rath, Mt Bolus, Kinnitty and Cadamstown areas and is run from St. Joseph’s Community Centre every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Service users can avail of dinners on any or all three days for a short or long period of time at a cost of €3 per meal. If you know someone or you would like to avail of the service yourself please don’t hesitate to call us in the KDA office Eva or Sean 057 91 35445, where we will give you all the information and would be delighted to help you.

 

Four Seasons Garden Club

Our next meeting will be on Monday 7th March at 7:30pm in St. Joseph’s Community Centre, Solicitor Des Houlihan will give a talk on the night. Members and non-members are welcome.

Our annual week away will be from Sunday 24th to Friday 29th April, we are going to Quailty Hotel, Youghal, Co. Cork. €355 per person sharing, €30 supplement for single room, names and deposit of €180 as soon as possible to Eileen 086 8417617 or 057 91 35152.

 

Bingo is Coming Back!!

Bingo is starting back in St. Joseph’s Community Centre, Kilcormac on Tuesday 15th March 2016. The Bingo is UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT of both the Kilcormac Development Association and the Kilcormac Community Childcare and will have a prize fund of €2,000 every week. First Responder Training

Anyone interested in learning how to perform CPR and how to use an AED, the Kilcormac Community First Responders will be holding a training evening in the next 4-6 weeks depending on sufficient numbers. The cost for training will be €15 this includes a pocket face mask. Please call the KDA office on 057 91 35445 to put your name on the list or for more information.

 

Kilcormac Community Childcare

The KCC held a successful enrolment evening in the Playschool Tuesday evening recently.  Enrolment forms are due back completed by Friday 11th March.  If you require forms please contact us on 05791 35946.

 

Frankford F.C.

The club would like to thank Kieran Davern and his team from Evolution Gym Tullamore for the fantastic event which was held in the County Arms last Saturday 27th February. A lot of hard work went into putting this event on to help raise funds to finish the Club house. To all the local lads a huge thank you for participating in this event, which brought huge entertainment to the massive crowd that supported us and the fighters on the night. Thank you for coming to the event. To all the sponsors on the night and to everyone who helped out.
