Community Action Plan and Re-launch of Kilcormac.com

The final Community Action Plan for Kilcormac will be published and launched along with the redesigned Kilcormac.com website on Thursday 10th December at 8:30pm in St. Joseph’s Community Centre. We would encourage everyone to attend to see what the plans for the area are for the next 5 years and also to learn how to use the website for their groups and clubs with regard to the ‘INTERACTIVE COMMUNITY EVENTS CALENDAR’. A lot of work has gone into the reworking of the website to make it user friendly. The idea behind the community events calendar is that your event can be posted on the site and therefore when any other club/organisation or individual is planning an event they will first check to see what dates are available in the community in order to gain as much support on any given night as possible. This should avoid 2 events being run the same night in such a small area and therefore will benefit everyone that is fundraising particularly. We look forward to seeing you on the night where light refreshments will also be served.
