AN EVENING OF FUN
A evening of Fun and Games will take place on Thurs. 27th Feb. in the Community Centre, Kilcormac from 4.00p.m. to 6.00p.m. This evening is particularly directed towards the elderly, and the young at heart. A representative from The Midland Health Board will attend and give a talk on Health and Fitness. Refreshments will served. This should prove to be a good social occasion so you should encourage any older person to go along and enjoy the evening.
ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARADE MEETING
A reminder of the St. Patrick's Day Parade Meeting taking place this Wed. night 19th Feb. in the Community Centre, Kilcormac, at 8.30p.m. All are welcome at this meeting.
BALLYBOY SOCIAL CLUB
Ballyboy Social Club presents a Table Quiz in Dan & Mollys, on this Thurs. 20th Feb. at 9.30p.m. Tables are 20Euro and all are welcome.
BALLYBOY C.C.E.
The Junior Session held on Sun. last 16th Feb. was a great success, and many thanks to all who attended and helped out.
The next Jun. Session is on Sunday 16th March, and further details will be announced later. Also a reminder of the Senior Session on Fri. 28th Feb. in Dan & Mollys.
The Branch is also having an open meeting on Wed. 5th March at 9.15p.m. sharp in Dan & Mollys. All members and persons connected with the branch are asked attend and bring with them ideas for a float for the St. Patrick's Day Parade.
The Branch would also like to send condolences to the families of the late Robert Boland and Jack Doyle on their recent bereavements.
An update on all activities in the branch can be had by keeping in touch with the K/K notes on the local paper and listening to Coppers and Brass on Radio 3 on Sunday evenings from 6-8p.m.
CEILI AND SETS
A reminder of the Ceili and Sets in Durrow Hall, Tullamore, on this Fri. 21st Feb. Music is by Carousel and admission; is 7Euro and all proceeds are in aid of the Zambian Missions.
TABLE QUIZ
All Table Quiz enthusiasts don't forget the Quiz in Rath Hall on this Fri. night 21st Feb. commencing at 9.00p.m. Spot prizes on the night and refreshments will served. All proceeds from the Quiz will go towards the book being produced by the Firceall Heritage Group on the history of Eglish and Drumcullen. Table of four 20Euro, and all support will be greatly appreciated.
BALLYBOY HIGH MILEAGE CLUB
Ballyboy High Mileage Club meets on Thurs. 27th Feb. in Dan & Mollys. Something special is lined up for the evening, so you are asked to be at Dan & Mollys, at 3.45p.m.
FOUR SEASONS GARDENING CLUB
The Gardening Club held their Annual Dinner in The Riverbank Restaurant, Riverstown on Tues. night last 11th Feb. This was a great success, with plenty of music, singing, dancing and storytelling. Sincere thanks to everyone who attended and particular thanks to Des and Declan for a wonderful meal.
Some seats are still available for the away trip to The Killarney Ryan Hotel from 28th April to 2nd May. Contact Eileen at 35152 if you wish to book. Members and non-members are welcome.
A reminder that membership of the Club is now due.
