Louis Moore President's Prize
Paschal Troy emerged a clear winner in Castle Barna with a score of 41 points. Roddy Molloy and P. J. Lowry were next best with 37 pts each. Joe Slevin won category one with 35pts, Trevor Fletcher had 34pts and Damien Barron 31. P. J. Tooher won category two with 35pts, followed by Des Kelly with 33 and Conor Slevin with 32 pts. 41 members competed for the lovely trophy and Paschal Troy, in accepting his prize, spoke for many members in complimenting Louis on the encouragement he had given to so many to take up golf and he wished Louis well as he is in hospital at the moment.

Mick Troy Trophy 2008
Matthew Feighery finished best of the 45 competitors in Tullamore to win this prize with a score of 43 pts. Tim Guinan took second prize with 41 pts. and John Buckley was third with a score of 39 pts. Prizewinners in category 1 were Trevor Fletcher 38pts., Roddy Molloy 38 pts. and Paul Lowry 35 pts. Winners in category 2 were Sean Doyle 34 pts., Martin Delaney 34 pts. and Arthur Marsh 33 pts. Sean Craven won the front nine with 20 pts. and Denis Flynn won the back nine with 16 pts.

Captain's Prize 2007
Declan Lowry played great golf in Moate to emerge victorious in John Flynn's Captain's Prize with a great score of 40 points, two ahead of his brother, Paul in second place. Denis Flynn's 37 points secured third place for him (on the back six). Cat. 1 winners were Tom Moylan, Joe Slevin and Paschal Troy. Cat.2 winners were Jimmy Quinn, John Flynn and Dermot Harte. Winners in Cat. 3 were Peter Mitchell, Arthur Marsh and Kevin Clarke. The nines prizes went to Paul Troy and Tom Daly.

Presidents Prize 2007
Louis Moore's President's Prize was played in Ballinasloe and Jimmy Quinn just pipped Martin Delaney on the back 9 to win with 35 points. Newcomer Daithi Nolan finished third, one point behind. Category 1 prizewinners were Paul Lowry, Paschal Troy and Declan Lowry. Arthur Marsh, Tom Daly and John Flynn featured in category 2, while Eugene Hennessy, Denis Flynn and Dessie Kelly won in category 3. The nines prizes went to Enda Darcy and Peter Harte.

Captain's Prize 2006
John Delaney's captain's prize was played for on Sept. 2nd in Edenderry Golf Club. Liam Rosney had a fabulous score of 43 points and won the coveted prize. Click here to see photos of the day.
About Us
Kilcormac Killoughey Golfing Society was officially constituted in November 1995, having had a number of outings that year to gauge the level of interest in golf in the parish. A committee was elected and the society came into existence under the captaincy of Kevin Clarke. In the intervening years interest has remained high with an annual membership of over 50 and an average attendance at outings of 40.
The president of the society since its inception is Louis Moore and the captains were:

The AGM was held in January and Matthew Feighery was named as the captain for the coming year. Best wishes to Matthew and to the new committee for 2008.
