U21 Hurling ChampionshipHard luck to our U21 hurlers who were defeated by Shinrone in the Quarter Final of the Championship on Good Friday in Shinrone. K/K played against a strong breeze in the first half and trailed by 0-11 to 1-3 at half time with Jordan Quinn finishing to the net for the goal. K/K fought back in the second half to only trail by two points however that was as close as they could get as Shinrone ran out winners on an 0-18 to 1-13 scoreline. Poker ClassicThanks to all who attended our annual Good Friday Poker Classic last night in the Clubhouse in Kilcormac, to Paul Troy who organised the poker on the night and Mary Kiely who provided the refreshments at the break. Offaly GAAHard luck to the Offaly senior footballers on their 1-9 to 0-9 defeat to Westmeath in Mullingar on Sunday. Best of luck to the hurlers in the League Quarter Final vs Kilkenny and to the footballers who play Limerick in the last round of the league on Sunday. Well done to the Offaly minor hurlers who defeated Down 3-10 to 1-5 in the Leinster Minor Hurling League Semi Final at the weekend and will now play Laois in the final.
