Senior HurlingWell done to our Senior Hurlers who began their championship campaign with a 3-16 to 1-7 win over Lusmagh on Sunday morning in Banagher. K/K played with the aid of a strong wind advantage in the first half and despite conceding the first two points of the game, they took control of the half thereafter scoring 1-10 unanswered including a goal from the penalty spot from Ciaran Slevin. Lusmagh added a third point from a free before the break to leave the half time score: K/K 1-10 Lusmagh 0-3. Further second half goals from Cillian Kiely and Ciaran Slevin increased K/K’s advantage and they ran out winners to get the campaign off to a good start. Intermediate HurlingThe intermediate hurling championship against Seir Kieran was postponed on Sunday due to an unplayable pitch. The match has been refixed for this Friday 15th April at 7pm in Banagher.

Offaly GAAWell done to the Offaly minor hurlers on their 1-15 to 1-12 win over Laois on Saturday in O’Connor Park especially K/K’s representatives Stephen Leonard, Mikey Ryan, Karl Guinan and Dylan Young.
