Local girl, Lorraine Regan, Kinnitty Road, Kilcormac, recently received confirmation that she has qualified for the European Games,which take place in Holland on 23rd June. Lorraine competes in Javelin and Shot. She recently returned from games in London where she came second in the Shot.

Commemorations to remember the victims of the Famine (An Gorta Mor), takes place on Sunday next with Mass in Kilcormac Church at 11.30a.m. and followed by ceremonies in Cadamstown, Rathlihen and Ballyboy.
Tir na nOg will host an evening of music, song and dance in St. Joseph's Community Centre on Friday the 18th of May from 7p.m. to 10p.m. All elderly people are invited.

A Table Quiz will take place in Feigherys on this Fri. night 18th May will all proceeds for Scoil Mhuire and Chormaic. Quiz commences 9.30p.m. and tables of four €20. All support greatly appreciated.

Kilcormac Ramblers have returned from their Annual Weekend Away. Over thirty Ramblers took off on Fri. morning last for Ennis, Co. Clare where they were based at the West Co. Hotel for the weekend.
